Letters from a difficult woman is the brain child of Queer Artist Ro. Frustrated by the labels placed on women. This website is an ode to all difficult women, regards of ability, skin colour, culture or religion. Ro’s goal is to hold safe space and ignite discussion on what or who a difficult woman is and why society wants to break them.
Through letter writing, essays, snail mail, art, mixed media etc. Ro seeks to celebrate how being difficult can lead you to your true self.
This space on the internet stands with the LGBTQIA+ community, Women with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres St Islander communities, Refugees and anyone else who has been labelled ‘difficult’ or ‘too much’.
